FAQ:
Q1: How do I get to the ashram?
A1: We’ll pick you up from the airport, bus, or train station.
Q2: Why wake up so early?
A2: Because we live in a farm community we wake up much earlier than most ISKCON centers. Ample time to rest is provided throughout the day. The Brahma-muhūrta (generally 4:00 AM to 5:30 AM) is ideal for spiritual growth. Adjusting to the schedule becomes enjoyable after a few days.
Q3: Why follow the schedule strictly?
A3: Immersion in the program elevates consciousness by minimizing external distractions.
Q4: Is Kṛṣṇa consciousness a religion?
A4: It’s a spiritual science, not a sectarian religion, based on a profound philosophy and practical application, free from dogma.
Q5: Anything else to know?
A5: Chant the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra aloud to prepare, and contact us for registration details.
